Combined with visual art and lighting\, this leads up to a multi-sensory journey. A truly immersive and transformative encounter on the dance floor. \nDesert Flower is a collaborative project of Art Director Air-i-kah\, DJ & Producer Endless Ritual\, Visual Artist Khmi and project management and communications by Artisans.love. Together they form the Mystique Circus Crew. A crew joined together for this project by their love for music\, art and their intrinsic motivation to grow in any direction possible within their own creation. Sharing and enhancing each other. The poem of Endless Ritual can be seen as the start of project Desert Flower\, a deep dive into becoming an artist\, a personal journey to freedom and expression of creativity. It was the kick-off for the first ambient techno track of the EP Desert Flower\, called ‘Initiation’. The EP Desert Flower is an ambient tribal techno album by Endless Ritual. The music and visuals for this album stem from the continuous interplay between the members of the crew. Awakening a feeling and a journey. Where sound & image start to emerge\, the recording process starts and all interactions start to immerse into the music and the video. As equal artistic expressions. \n

ELIXIR is driven by embracing universal experience\, healing the trauma of separation and celebrating in-between-ness. \nS X M B R A is a neurodivergent artist and researcher\, born in Colombia and adopted to the Netherlands. His contrastive\, emotional style stretches from audio collages\, DJ mixes\, electronic productions and violin improv that blend drama\, euphoria\, organic and industrial sounds and afro-latin rhythms. Recurrent themes in his work are subconscious fears and desires\, self transcendence and embodying alternative futures.

DESCRIPTION:Water on the surface of the earth absorbs vibrations and store them. It appears to act as the Earth’s sensory organ for cosmic movement and information like the moon tides f.e. How does the water inside and around us interfere into our memory? \nThese thoughts have given birth to the idea of MOONWATERS\, a poetic landscape that layers abstract sounds with spoken-word that brings us in touch with water -as our inner listener\, the element that allows memory. \n  \n  \nSofia Kaloterakis is a poet\, artist and sound healer based in the Netherlands. \nShe uses poetry as a tool to navigate worlds such as the dreamscapes in her first poetry collection ‘Drift in Lyrics’ or the non-ordinary shamanic visions of her upcoming second collection. She is fascinated with science-fiction and its ability to makes us imagine and world-build new ideas about the future. \nBeyond the realm of word\, she also often gives spoken-word performance and guided meditations. She also guides ceremonies and offers sound baths.

Through the clay\, the performer connects with the element of earth\, letting it become a channel for their energy and intentions. Their aim is to transcend the physical form and enter a higher state of consciousness\, to be born again. Myrgon is a multidisciplinary artist working with earthly materials. Their artistic expression delves into the connection of the human body to its origins through ritualistic and mythological techniques. Their work manifests in live sculpting ritual performances\, led by instinct and the subconscious. Forging a link between the physical body to its spiritual roots\, the entities that emerge during their acts\, reflect existential explorations and experiences on identity and the human condition.

Their concert will be full of melancholy and passion\, which ultimately manages to cheer up the listener.  FARID SHEEK composes\, plays piano and daf (a Persian frame drum that has been played for thousands of years in the Middle East). Born and raised in Iran\, Farid Sheek has lived in the Netherlands since 2011. Here he combines the rich Iranian musical tradition that he received from his father with the Western influences that he acquired here.

It follows Vlada’s journey through her subconscious mind\, symbolised by an ‘incense clock\,’ drawing inspiration from Byung-Chul Han’s philosophy on contemplative time.+ contextualization. \n  \nLiminal Vision explores value paradigms in emerging technocultural developments through speculative worldbuilding\, material artefacts and immersive media. Grounded in the research field on ‘affect’ and its use through datafication\, we unpack the design of affective undertones in different social systems by forward-engineering them from a critical perspective. Our goal is to contribute to public discourse on emerging technological conditions in the context of the 21st century’s converging challenges. The filmmakers will be present to talk about the film after the screening.
