The ultimate\, and perhaps slightly too ambitious goal is to plant an energetic seed towards gaining magical powers like dream manifestation. They are educated in theater\, experienced in comedy\, a self-taught singer\, music producer\, playwriter\, theater maker\, visual artist\, fashion designer and astrologer. SUMMARY:Queen of the Night - Ritual Hook Suspension
DESCRIPTION:Location: Maca 18:45-19:30\nBy Luna Duran and Lucas Celinski\nhttps://www.instagram.com/bookofluna/\nhttps://www.lunaduran.com/ \nIn “Queen of the Night”\, Berlin based artists Luna Duran and Lucas Foletto Celinski will embody an archetypal myth of the descent of a Sumerian Goddess into the netherworld and her eventual resurrection. Using hook suspension and meticulously constructed jewellery activated by ritual movements in temporary piercings\, the artists transmute injury into visual symbol. In this performance attendees are invited to enter atemporal space where they collectively undertake a purification journey inscribed in cuneiform tablets thousands of years in the linear past. Luna Duran and Lucas Foletto Celinski are of Latin American origins currently working from and residing in Berlin where they develop their artistic practice centering on the body. Taking from the tradition of modern primitives in the 80s and 90s finding their way back to pre-colonial ritual practices in the Americas. These extreme ritual practices are performed and documented in various artistic mediums.

SUMMARY:Smear Champagne- Butoh piece
DESCRIPTION:SMEAR CHAMPAGNE- JOANA CUIKO \nListen carefully.. that is not you that is wrecked\, that is your wound\, and underneath that wound\, trauma\, confusion\, whatever the fuck\, there is the most beautiful – you. Has my wound healed? I can’t tell\, but I know it doesn’t bleed anymore\, and I know that because I watched the last drop leave. Open space\, for a new life to form\, for new blood to start circulating. And for the knowledge and wisdom that such space carries to manifest. Has my wound healed? I don’t know\, but I am sure it has changed\, and that I do find as a miracle. I don’t know how to explain a level of surprise\, relief\, and disbelief\, when internal pain changes to a space that is there to welcome life again. I don’t know if the wound ever heals\, but I am sure it changes inside\, it has stages\, shapes\, and tones. Some of them disappear\, some turn into scars. And they change as well\, if there is a possibility to have enough time to kiss it and give it meaning when there is none.

DESCRIPTION:Location: Maca\, 11.15 -14:15\nBy Kierla Janisse (she\, her) \n\nHome \n\nWOODLANDS DARK AND DAYS BEWITCHED is a three-hour documentary film that explores the folk horror phenomenon from its beginnings in a trilogy of films – Michael Reeves’ Witchfinder General (1968)\, Piers Haggard’s Blood on Satan’s Claw (1971) and Robin Hardy’s The Wicker Man (1973) – through its proliferation on British television in the 1970s and its culturally specific manifestations in American\, Asian\, Australian and European horror\, to the genre’s revival over the last decade. Touching on over 200 films and featuring over 50 interviewees\, WOODLANDS DARK AND DAYS BEWITCHED investigates the many ways that we alternately celebrate\, conceal and manipulate our own histories in an attempt to find spiritual resonance in our surroundings. \nKier-La Janisse (born October 3\, 1972) is a Canadian film writer\, programmer\, producer\, and founder of The Miskatonic Institute of Horror Studies. Her work is considered to be an important milestone in both confessional film writing and the study of female madness onscreen.

SUMMARY:Moon Waters\, Sound Healing and Spoken Word
DESCRIPTION:Water on the surface of the earth absorbs vibrations and store them. It appears to act as the Earth’s sensory organ for cosmic movement and information like the moon tides f.e. How does the water inside and around us interfere into our memory? \nThese thoughts have given birth to the idea of MOONWATERS\, a poetic landscape that layers abstract sounds with spoken-word that brings us in touch with water -as our inner listener\, the element that allows memory. \n  \n  \nSofia Kaloterakis is a poet\, artist and sound healer based in the Netherlands. \nShe uses poetry as a tool to navigate worlds such as the dreamscapes in her first poetry collection ‘Drift in Lyrics’ or the non-ordinary shamanic visions of her upcoming second collection. She is fascinated with science-fiction and its ability to makes us imagine and world-build new ideas about the future. \nBeyond the realm of word\, she also often gives spoken-word performance and guided meditations. She also guides ceremonies and offers sound baths.

SUMMARY:Black Mass\, Classical Piano Ritual
DESCRIPTION:Location: MACA studio 18:00-18:30 \nBy: Anima Lab (Daria Fedorchenko)\nhttps://www.animalab.space/projects \nBlack Mass is a piano ritual that investigates the relationship between pianist A. Scriabin and the Theosophist movement through his piano compositions. The exploration delves into the question of the separation of matter and spirit. Through her own designed ritual\, Daria debunks “enlightenment” to present a poetic and grounding approach\, one that brings connection to the body of the audience. Founded by Daria Fedorchenko\, Anima Lab creates alone and in collaboration. In order to balance microcosmos and macrocosmos\, Anima Lab engages in interdisciplinary work with other practitioners and artists starting from the seed\, the conceptual process\, throughout the production until the execution. The content and the shape remains flexible while the view and intention always remains at the core of the project..

DESCRIPTION:Location: MACA 14:30-15:00 \nBy: Farid Sheek and Maya Fridman \nhttps://www.faridsheek.com/maya-fridman \n  \nFor the musical concert Khazan\, Farid Sheek and Maya Fridman will explore the dreamy colors of the season with Persian santoor\, daf\, and cello. The performance connects with the feelings of nostalgia and separation associated with each season. Their concert will be full of melancholy and passion\, which ultimately manages to cheer up the listener.  FARID SHEEK composes\, plays piano and daf (a Persian frame drum that has been played for thousands of years in the Middle East). Born and raised in Iran\, Farid Sheek has lived in the Netherlands since 2011. Here he combines the rich Iranian musical tradition that he received from his father with the Western influences that he acquired here.

SUMMARY:Scent of Time\, Film Screening
DESCRIPTION:Location: MACA\, 12:00 – 12:45 CONFIRMED \nBy: Liminal Vision \nhttps://liminal.vision/ \n  \nScent of Time is a 29-minute film exploring themes of exile\, evolving perspectives\, and self-determination. It follows Vlada’s journey through her subconscious mind\, symbolised by an ‘incense clock\,’ drawing inspiration from Byung-Chul Han’s philosophy on contemplative time.+ contextualization. \n  \nLiminal Vision explores value paradigms in emerging technocultural developments through speculative worldbuilding\, material artefacts and immersive media. Grounded in the research field on ‘affect’ and its use through datafication\, we unpack the design of affective undertones in different social systems by forward-engineering them from a critical perspective. Our goal is to contribute to public discourse on emerging technological conditions in the context of the 21st century’s converging challenges. The filmmakers will be present to talk about the film after the screening.

SUMMARY:Solve et Coagula\, Film and Performance (plus18)
DESCRIPTION:Location: MACA\, 20.00- 22:00\nBy: Orryelle Defenestrate-Bascule (he/him) \nAn EsotErotic\, Surreal and psychedelic journey of re-enchantment\, SOLVE et COAGULA is writer-director Orryelle’s first feature-length film. Its central message of the reintegration of spirit and matter\, mind and body is pertinent in our disconnected times…\nThe ancient Thracian bard Orpheus laments ever for his lost love Eurydice. Having returned from the Underworld in his attempts to retrieve her\, he can now no longer die\, yet lacks presence. So the maenads tear him limb from limb…\nTwo thousand years later: An immortal head\, disembodied\, aware now of the power of the physical form in which it is forever encased. Upon the Templar altar\, wise yet carnal\, the only way it can now enjoy the idea of a body is through vicarious experience of others enjoying theirs. Thus with the heightened senses remaining in the head\, s/he desires to create a new physical vessel… \n  \nOrryelle Defenestrate-Bascule is a multi-talented esoteric artist who works in a variety of media including painting\, writing\, sculpture\, sound\, film\, and performance art. He is the writer and director of the Metamorphic Ritual Theatre Company\, which has presented numerous original productions based on ancient myths. Orryelle is also the creator of the Tela Quadrivium book series and The Book of Kaos Tarot. Recently\, Orryelle completed his first feature film\, ‘Solve et Coagula’\, which deals with the themes of the head of Orpheus\, which is disembodied by Nymphs after his inability to process the grief of loss for her beloved. Orryelle developed a performance that will be combined with the screening of the film.

SUMMARY:Witch House Night II
DESCRIPTION:By: Clepsydra (italy)\, Skaen (bielorussia)\, Monomorte (UK)\, DJ INNOCENT DARKNESS\nLocation: Treehouse NDSM\, 20:00 – 00:00 \nWitch house is a genre of music that emerged in the late 2000s and early 2010s\, characterized by a dark\, ethereal\, and often haunting sound. It blends elements of chopped and screwed hip-hop\, dark ambient\, noise\, and various aspects of electronic and industrial music. The name “witch house” is believed to have been coined as a joke by Travis Egedy (who performs under the name Pictureplane)\, but it was quickly adopted by artists and fans of the genre. \nThe style is known for its use of occult\, horror-inspired visuals\, heavy use of visual symbolism\, and altered or distorted visuals and sounds. Many witch house tracks and artists use typographic symbols in their names\, such as triangles\, crosses\, and Unicode characters. This aesthetic choice adds to the mysterious and underground feel of the genre. \nWitch house is often associated with acts like Salem\, White Ring\, and oOoOO\, who were among the early artists to define the genre’s sound. These artists typically use heavy\, reverb-laden beats\, synthesizers that create a ghostly atmosphere\, and vocals that are often distorted or buried in the mix. \nThe genre gained momentum and wider recognition in the early 2010s. It was particularly popular in online music communities and among listeners who were drawn to its unique blend of electronic music with gothic and occult themes. DJs like Innocent Darkness have been instrumental in promoting witch house since the early days. Your involvement in playing this genre since 2012\, particularly with your discovery of White Ring and organizing events like “Land of the Creeps” by Dj innocent Darkness\, parties in Antwerp city\, places you among the early adopters and promoters of witch house. \nAs with many music genres\, witch house is not just defined by its sound but also by the culture and aesthetic surrounding it. This includes the kind of events you’ve been involved in\, where the music\, visuals\, and overall atmosphere contribute to the experience. Your interest in doing something new within this genre could involve exploring and blending other musical influences or creating unique visual and auditory experiences that push the boundaries of what witch house can be.

DESCRIPTION:By: Sajjra Xhrs Galarreta Pando (he/him)\nLocation: MACA\, 19:20-20:00 \nhttps://cielopresenteytotal.wordpress.com/7-2/bio/ \n  \nSajjra Xhrs Galarreta Pando (Peru\, 1976) is one of the important figures of the South American underground. Going back and forth from Europe\, Asia\, Middle East Latin America and his homeland\, he has been experimenting with music\, noise and arts in a strictly DIY way since 1995. This philosophy has led him to expand his poetry into realms such as song writing\, installation art\, software-hardware hacking\, free improvisation\, electroacustic and psychoacoustic compositions. His constant metamorphosis has given rise to numerous aliases and side projects: Aloardi\, DiosMeHaViolado\, Evamuss\, Christian Galarreta\, Tica\, and Invisible Architecture among others. \nSajjra emerged from the depths of the Uku Pacha in 2012\, merging psychedelic songs with andean-tropical music and radical sound experimentation. \nSajjra’s new album titled “Serpent is Present” has been chosen as the album of the year 2023 by the blog “Perú Avantgarde” and occupies third position in the ranking of the blog “Tesoros Mundanos”. It was published in September 2023 by Aloardi (Peru – Holland) in handmade lenticular posters format and by Arsenic Solaris (France) on CD. In anticipation of this release\, in July\, Aloardi published the single “Srpnt s Prsnt” as a handmade 3D lenticular postcard designed in three different versions by Margarita Milova.

SUMMARY:Eternal Hush\, Performance
DESCRIPTION:Location: MACA\, 18:30 – 19:15 \nBy: Safa Mirror (she/her)\nhttps://www.instagram.com/safamirror \nA performative translation of Rumi ghazal number 636 \nEternal Hush\, is a performative translation of Rumi’s poetic accounts of his experience with fanā\, or death. \nFanā\, or death\, is one of the key concepts in Sufism. It indicates the process of losing one’s self\, identity\, possessions\, belongings\, and ideologies\, for the soul to ascend this earthly realm\, in hopes of reaching unity with the divine. As this state of oneness is inherently ineffable\, surpassing all linguistic or intellectual forms\, it has been described by Sufi poets as the silence in death. \nSafa Mirror (she/her) is a trans-disciplinary artist\, researcher\, and Tarologist\, exploring the intersections of magick and mysticism. She dedicates her research to analysing\, deconstructing\, and contextualising Middle-Eastern Mystical traditions and Western Esoteric practices. As an artist\, Safa utilises her talents to decipher\, translate and perform the mystical Persian poetry of Rumi and Hafez. As the resident Tarologist at @blackmoonbotanica.nl\, Safa manifests her divinatory powers\, offering insight from both Eastern and Western wisdoms. \n  \n  \n

(Yes\, for you and your family\, including children from seven years and older).\nWhere to start? What are the main points to consider? It is about yourself. \n“My death\, their death” is about yourself and your beloved ones; this is a unique opportunity to start opening the conversation with your children and family\, to take the time for yourself to reflect on your own death\, and to invite others to the process. \nIn this interactive workshop\, Alejandra will converse openly and reflect with you about your death; you will be able to ask questions you may never want to ask anyone else and start preparing for your death. \nThe taboo of not talking or thinking about our death has been the source of many unpleasant family moments; if you care about your loved ones\, take a deep breath and dare to think about your last moments on this earth. \nAt the end of the workshop\, you will have a clear idea of where to start and receive a guide to prepare for your death with pleasure and openness. \nAlejandra Nettel has spent over a decade asking people from different backgrounds: What is dead for you? Evolving in a series of videos responding to “the question.” If you want to be part of this ongoing project\, at the end of the workshop\, you will have the opportunity to answer “the question” and be part of the project. \n  \nAlejandra Nettel is a Mexican/Dutch artist and motivational speaker whose work deals with death and Buddhism. Working as a public and radio speaker\, as an actress\, and a photographer\, Nettel’s diverse and rich background in performing arts\, media\, and visual communication all contribute to her skill as a presenter.
